best steak ever discovered at Jake's Charbroil Steaks!

It seems that all we do these days is eat plenty of good, nutritious food! Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure I had foei gras, boutique red ribbon cake and we can now add imported Australian Black Angus Tenderloin, Lobster Bisque and Cod Fish to the list as well --- and it's only Tuesday! With Wewo's brother and sister dropping by this weekend plus another wedding to attend to, I'm pretty sure this week is going to be downright gastronomical.

The Big Birthday Celebration

Wewo's birthday is in conjunction with our wedding registration last week, so his birthday celebration sort of turned into a 7-day epic event starting from the 21st all the way to the 27th of November. We closed the ceremony today by having dinner at the Best Steak Restaurant in Bangsar / KL / Malaysia --- Jake's Charbroil Steaks!!!

The RM135 steak. Slicing through the meat is like slicing silk. It's delicious, and I don't even like beef! Yum!

My appetite isn't quite back yet, so I just had some fish. Some cod fish. Tee hee.

We are usually quite frugal when it comes to eating out, but I wanted to totally spoil my brand new hubby, so I mandated that he should order the most expensive steak in the house! To keep him company, I would also be ordering fancy food too Mwahahahahaha.. Of course, we had to be that kind of lovey dovey couple who still wrestle over the bill, so Wewo paid the bill anyway, even though it was my bright idea to splurge on his Birthday Dinner.

In total, approximately RM300 will get you:
- A mug of draft Tiger beer
- Lobster Bisque soup with caviar (must order!)
- Seafood chowder soup (it was OK only)
- Potato skins (try at least once)
- Australian Black Angus Tenderloin (save your money and spend RM135 on this! Worth it!)
- Cod fish (tastes like food for sick people when compared against the steak, hahaha)

We also quite like the cosy setting, attentive staff and the fact that jockeys will help you park your car in the cramped space for only RM5. This will definitely be the kind of place we'll go to for celebrations in our family!

And also,

His Birthday Cake
We had a birthday cake yesterday, and celebrated it by setting up a Facetime session with Wewo's parents. There was bad birthday song singing, dangerous candle blowing in an air-conditioned environment and plenty of love to go all around *ahem*. Cake by Delectable by Su, a shop I seriously adore located at Gardens, Mid Valley. It's really weird, it's one of the rare cakes that taste better in room temperature.

Throwing birthday celebrations is deliciously fun! Next! Christmas!

With lots of love, a Pam who is in danger of falling asleep at her work desk.
